What is Engine Oil Pump?

Oil pumps are usually either inside the oil pan and driven by a camshaft or outside the pan and driven by a crankshaft.The oil pump provides the force that delivers oil through galleries and passages around the engine.

When does the oil pump need to be replaced?

➤Low oil pressure

A bad oil pump will lose the ability to properly pump oil through your system.

➤Increased engine operating temperature

Oil reduces friction on vehicle parts, thereby maintaining temperature regulation while the vehicle is running. Damage to the oil pump can result in a reduction in the flow of engine oil, so that the parts cannot stay lubricated and thus rub heavily, generating a lot of heat.

➤Noise

When there is a problem with the oil pump, the oil flow to the hydraulic lift will be cut off, resulting in a lot of noise, and the hydraulic lift is very expensive and damage will cause huge losses.
