Why choose hand hooked?:
- Hand-hooked rugs are made by a professional rug-maker using a device to push strands of wool through frame-mounted stretched canvas in a pre-determined pattern. The back of the pattern then receives a surface adhesive for added durability and to reduce slippage on smooth surfaced. This results in more uniform styles at a lower cost than hand knotted rugs.
