Each knife includes a Japanese Magnolia Wood Sheath to protect the knives blade. Each sheath has a built in magnet to keep prevent the blade from slipping. The sheath also doubles as a stand with a built in foldable pedestal. This 8" Gyuto (Chef's Knife) utilizes a double beveled blade crafted from 9CR18MOV carbon steel. With a Rockwell hardness of 60, this blade will serve as a workhorse by keeping its edge longer and sharper. Each Knife uses a traditional Japanese octagonal shaped Tortoise Shell Resin Handle.
