Consistently Solid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop has been my go to since the T20, and even after it went from IBM to Lenovo, they stayed very well made, serviceable, and solid. The warranty is second to none, and being in IT, I know this because I have to call them in all the time for being...dropped. Can't say enough good things about the design of the system, plus the auto-detecting driver packs with System Update/Vantage. It's all very well put together. I don't love the other software packages, but it's a small price to pay for the rest of the awesome.

Expectations Met and Surprisingly Exceeded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Goal: A reasonably priced, full featured, light weight, laptop I could actually carry around (without seemingly lugging around a sack of rocks) and also use as a desktop with peripherals such as auxillary screens. This computer met and exceeded my expectations.

Great computer right out of the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device started serving me well immediately upon unpacking. It was easy to swap into my existing setup with an external monitor, and it was easy to install the software I had been using as well as my files. Having switched from an older Macbook Air, my only concerns have been 1) getting used to the track pad, which is much touchier and also needs a more forceful click to select text and 2) figuring out how to keep windows features I don't need (like the X-box app) from starting automatically. Issue #2 was resolved within several days, and I am well on the way to being used to the trackpad differences after two weeks.
