Beautiful & uncomfortable

This is a beautiful sandal, but it is not comfortable for any lengthy walking. I wore these in the airport on an international flight from Charleston, SC to Antigua. I chose them because they are flat and beautifully embellished. Frankly, they looked better w/my Lilly than my Birkenstocks. What a mistake! My feet were on FIRE after walking through the terminals and various gates. I should've opted for comfort and not vanity and wore my Birks.
