its very well built and a little on the light side which helps with my old mother. the handles are sturdy and arent loose which adds to the build quality. The lid fits perfectly. pretty easy to scratch but i dont mind. havent used in a dish washer but have washed it and its easier than with stainless steel oddly. the handle for the lid is big and easy to grab.
