Able to correct too short pole on feeder

Have a pole-mounted bird feeder which holds over 5 lbs of seed and the bottom of one of the two linked poles rusted away. Bird feeder %26 squirrel baffle was too close to the ground %26 had to be taken in every evening to keep the racoons from getting at the feeder. This pole had enough choices/options I was able to put the pole into the ground. It was tall, so now the feeder is about 7' off the ground and the birds flock to it up there--guess they feel safer and have an easier time of watching out for predators. No more carrying the feeder in at night %26 out in the morn. Plus I still have an extra length left over for any other feeder repairs. Definitely please with this set up. Highly recommend.

Good pole, plenty sturdy

This pole is just fine. I prefer the auger version, but this one stands firm if installed correctly. I loosened the ground with a weeder tool, then used a medium-soft mallet to drive it in further. No wobbling.
