For a child this is worth the money. Even though he is only going on two he loves his big boy bed. The mattress fits perfectly in a zip up waterproof mattress cover. Much needed since he is still being potty trained. Falls asleep in it comfortably. No assembly required. Just open the plastic and the expandability of the foam will expand to its original shape. To expand even faster I let my grandson run across it multiple times...lol
