I don't know why I waited this long. I've known about Afro Unicorn. I use their edge gel. I trust their ingredients. But the Magical Tresses Never a Knot Shampoo and 1, 2, 3 Wishes Silky Conditioner finally made it into my house and I immediately felt betrayed by my past self. I washed my almost-26-month-old's hair and her curls said, “Oh, we're performing today.” She's biracial with 3A curls on top and 3B in the back and around her ears, and these products made her hair look like she has a glam team hiding behind the couch. Glossy. Defined. Ridiculously perfect. The kind of curls that make strangers stop mid-sentence.
