Reliable for a time. The sun will eventually get to it and rot the soft pieces but it will still be a reasonable value for the time you have it. I have a portable battery that's about the size of a cell phone that I put on the second bracket so I can plug my phone into it and charge it while I'm riding and using the gps app.

Better than I expected for such a low price. The one I received was grey and not the pictured red. I've done some ruff mountain biking and this has always held the phone securely. The combined rubber grip on the handle attachment and rubber backing supports and bands make for a good shock absorber lessening the impacts on the phone.
