Instructions
Preparation: Hot: Use a percolator, French press, tea ball, tea press, tea pot, strainer, or espresso machine. Add one tablespoon per 8 oz of water. Moisten herb with cool water before brewing. Don't use boiling water; 170 degrees F is ideal. Steep 4-6 minutes. Drink 1-2 cups daily for optimum results. Iced: Steep directly in cold water - no heat required. Stir and strain after 10+ minutes. Add ice, sweetener and citrus to taste. More Options: Blend with herbs for added benefits. Sip traditional-style through a bombilla (tea straw).

Clean and Energizing Yerba Mate Tea 🍃
I recently tried the EcoTeas Yerba Mate Pure Leaf Loose Tea (Unsmoked, Green Energy), and it's fantastic! This tea is dried with warm air instead of smoked, giving it a clean and smooth taste. Lovely but not as fresh tasting as the Mate Factor Fresh Green Yerbe Mate
Had I not already tried The Mate Factor Fresh Green Yerbe Mate harvested with their own unique process, then Eco Teas Yerbe Mate Unsmoked Green Energy would have been my favourite - but the Mate Factor just has a fresh edge to it as well as a beautiful green colour which is a little more vivid than this Eco Teas. I am still giving Eco Teas 5 stars as so much nicer than many Yerbe Mate teas, love the way it is unsmoked - but just not as vivacious and clean green tasting as The Mate Factor.. I will of course continue to use it and it comes in a great big pack so it will last for ages and it does seem, like The Mate Factor, to be excellent quality.

Excellent!
This is my first use of Yerba Mate tea. The benefits of Yerba Mate tea are well documented and I wanted to give it a try. I love that the tea is unsmoked as smoked tea has been linked to causing cancer. I take 8-10grams per serving, with 80 degree (Celsius) hot hater, I let it sit for 5 mins, and enjoy the wonderful taste of this amazing tea. I will reuse for 2 more times. Fantastic!
