Although a bag wrapper teabag, the smooth taste did not seem effected by the paper holding the tea. This tea proved to be just what I needed to abate the cough that would not go away, even with cough drops. I found myself enjoying the hot steamy mixture when up at night and yet I was able to go back to sleep even after drinking the tea in the middle of the night. What a perfect relief to my throat and sinuses. I highly recommend throat coat tea.

One of the first teas I’ve bought, when I wake up and I feel like my throat is sore I drink a cup of this with honey, for me it instantly soothes my throat. I sing w/a quartet, but often have both allergy and reflux troubles that affect my voice. I add a little honey and a squeeze of lemon to this tea and sip it between sets. It’s amazing how it helps calm my irritated vocal cords. I recommend it to everyone I her speaking or singing w/a “scratchy” voice. I’m their best advertiser!
