It's very sturdy and well made. It's not at all difficult to assemble, but you have to follow the directions exactly. There's a video, identified in the materials, that's well worth watching. Two hints that caused me to redo some assembly 1. Pay attention as to how the valve assembly is installed, and 2. make sure you attach the wire from the valve assembly to the burner (else it won't light the gas). As far as heat output, you can adjust the flames with the valve to your liking. You cannot use the fire pit indoors because of carbon monoxide, so don't think of it as a heating appliance. It does take the chill off the air on the patio, and doubles as a table with the nice fitting burner cover. Price is right, too.

Sturdy, Great Looking

Very sturdy and good quality. We have a large fire pit in our back yard but this is so much easier when we just want to sit by a fire and. It smell like smoke. Cool design on the top and the lid matches right up when it is put on. The cover is is nice and doesn't feel cheap.

Awesome Firepit

I did a ton of research before purchasing this table and think that it's a great value for the price. Really like the look of it. Recommend that everything be carefully unpacked, directions read through before starting, and you have a blanket to set everything down so that the pieces won't get scratched during assembly. It took 2 of us who aren't very handy about 45 minutes to assemble. The customer service is outstanding and any questions or concerns you may have are promptly addressed. I also recommend getting the wind guard
