Pink Girl tomato plants produce a large, juicy, tomato that weighs up to 8 ounces. The fruit is pearly pink with mild, mellow flavor with just the right amount of sweetness to it. It is a vigorous plant that will produce fruits throughout the growing season until the first frost. Pink Girl tomatoes have a lower acid content than red tomatoes; they are an excellent pick for people with acid tolerance issues. It can be used for cooking or served fresh. These large plants will grow 4-6 feet tall and should be planted 18-24 inches apart in a normal well-draining soil. When planting these and all other tomatoes, plant to a soil depth just beneath the first set of leaves. That first set of leaves (called cotyledon-which means the embryonic first leaves) will eventually fall off.
