Fabric is a nice weight - not too heavy so it works for travel. There is no panel to smooth or flatten the stomach but with the rouching on side seams it's not needed. The suite is long enough for a regular-waisted body. Overall, this is a nice-fitting bathing suit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased sight unseen. Very well made. True to size. Acts a little like shape-wear through the midsection as it provides nice abdominal and bust support. 5'9 . 145#. Size 10. Concerned wouldn't be long enough through the torso but it was perfect.
