Excellent amendment

I live on 20 acres and enjoy growing various plants and trees. I have a pecan tree by my driveway with various flowers planted all around it. Yearly, there are pecan saplings which come up. I call them “volunteers” as they come up on their own without me planting them. Anyway, I take these volunteers and transplant them to other places on my property. My success has been mixed with some surviving and others not. Mostly not. This year I decided to dig up the pecan saplings and put them in deep pots (as they have deep tap roots) to keep them close by so I can water and tend them until they are bigger and more likely to survive in the ground. This product is perfect for this purpose. In the pictures you can see where I mixed it with a quality potting soil before placing the trees with their deep roots inside. The mixture provides a light soil which drains well while still holding necessary moisture for the roots. The mixture will give the roots the ability to grow and establish a healthy root system for planting. I'm excited to have this in my arsenal of propagation tools.

Good growing garden

This 16 quart bag of Viagrow coarse and chunky vermiculite really worked well in my potted vegetables. After mixing it with my usual bagged soil I was able to make the containers less dense for my growing plants. It's great for aeration since peppers do not like wet soil plus the tomatoes have already started to produce little fruits. The coarse and chunky is best and easier to work with in larger containers outside. Plus, it is more cost effective to stretch the green in your wallet while growing the green of your choice. So I would highly recommend this Viagrow Vermiculite and now am looking forward to the fruits of my labor.

Viagrow Vermiculite

I am using this product to add to potting soil, making it less dense and able to hold moisture. I also am adding it to the bottom of pots without drainage holes so that roots don't remain wet, causing them to rot and the plant to die. Additionally, mixing in vermiculite lightens the weight of potted plants. This is a great product to use in gardening.
