I am unable to wear anything with synthetics close to my skin, and these are cotton covered. I have tried other cotton cover pads that were still overly synthetic, and decided to try these based on their organic cotton. These have ample cotton coverage and definitely designed with real human bodies in mind. The wings (in larger sizes) are better engineered for leak protection on both sides of the panty, but also with additional flaps along each side of their elongated back. The pad's fragrance is wonderful and your body thanks you for choosing an infused pad once the cooling tingle from the infusion hits. I was concerned about the herbal infusion, considering "scented" pads, that have existed through the years, were an additional irritant for me. These are infused with soothing essential oils, and proved to be a welcomed additional find. I definitely bought these with optimistic skepticism and thankfully, found myself satisfied; while now intrigued by HoneyPot's other products.
