Really got undercoat off my cat. Cat loves it, too.
I was unsure about purchasing this brush, but some reviewers claimed it was effective on short hair. However, it did not work on my dogs despite my gentle attempts to brush them. It barely removed any hair and my dogs did not like it. In the words of a former American Idol judge, "It's a no for me, dog."
I used this for the first time today and was wowed by the hair release system's convenience and painlessness. With one quick push of the button, I was left with a nice, neat pile of hair. I'm extremely pleased. My dog is 75% German Shepherd and 25% Husky/Australian Shepherd, so she has very thick hair. Oh, and she loved it too.
