Material: Polymer PEX Brand: Ironwerks Color: Black Connector Type: Elbow PEX Exterior Finish: PEX Number Of Pieces: 100 Manufactured to ASTM F1960, CSA B137.5. PPSU Engineered Plastic Material. Lead Free Compliant For use with PEX-a Tubing Manufactured to ASTM Standard F876-877. Temperature/Pressure: 210F / 150 psi Expansion PEX fittings are larger than the pipe diameter. This eliminates the possibility of the installer neglecting to solder, glue, or crimp a fitting, resulting in costly leaks inside the walls of a completed project. An ASTM F1960 fitting requires the connection to be fully made, permitting quick visual confirmation: If you can see the fitting is inside the pipe, the connection is done.
