The book begins with a subtitle 'Developing our candlelight-like wisdom.' When we have a candle in a room where all the doors and windows are closed, we are able to see without any problem all the objects in there. If we open a window and allow a breeze to come in, the candle will flicker to the point of almost going out. The same is with our minds.
