Fun ideas!

We have a local Japanese restaurant that serves a bento box lunch special that is a favorite of my kids. Our local grocery store recently started selling bento box lunch containers, so that gave me the chance to try out some fun lunch ideas, too. In Everyday Bento, I've gotten some really good ideas for making fun and healthy lunches with basic American ingredients. Author Wendy Thorpe Copley shows how to not only compartmentalize children's lunches, but also how to make them fun, too — quickly and easily. It's money saving (love the leftover-based recipes) and a great way for me to get my kids to eat their (super-cute) vegetables!
