Great monitor, risky packaging

My monitor was delivered damaged in the bottom left corner of the screen. Based on reviews on Amazon, this damage seems to be common and likely due to a defect in the product's packaging design (the one area where they didn't reinforce with protective materials). Since this item drop ships from Dell to you directly (meaning it doesn't get sent to Walmart first), Walmart really isn't at fault here. Until Dell fixes their packaging design, this is a risky buy in my opinion. Walmart offered me a refund or exchange, of course, but not before a trip to Fedex with this very heavy box and nearly 10 days of waiting for the damaged monitor to get back to Walmart before they would process the refund or exchange. Why buy online from Walmart with these backwards policies in place?
