Two unrelated short stories in both of which two young people meet unexpectedly and agree to experience the pleasure of mountain trail-running together. To their surprise, they also find love and discover some of the mysteries and wonders of the Christian faith. The first is a simple romance that takes place in the stunning surroundings of the Swiss Alps. The second is slightly longer and delves more deeply into the past experiences and present emotions of those involved. It begins in England before moving north over the Scottish border and on up the northern half of the West Highland Way - a wildly beautiful hiking trail - before ending in the legendary Isle of Skye.
