Love it!

My 9 year old granddaughter has 3 My Life As 18" Dolls, so I thought her 1 year old little sister would like one too. Jasmine just adores her doll. She is especially fascinated with the doll's eyes, because they open and close. Its really neat that there are so many outfits available for these dolls. Hopefully this will be a doll that Jasmine can love for many years to come.

Interest Specific Dolls

I thought the idea of having a doll that would mimic a child's interest was something new and exciting. Well, it was for me but not so much for today's 8 year old that's "not really into dolls". She has 3 or 4 dogs so I thought this would be nice. The fact that it could also help her learn to braid ponytails was a plus in my eyes. It hasn't been in our family long enough to know if she is sold on the idea but it would be a great gift for girls that are into dolls.
