It's a good deal and work as they should but I do wish they were a bit wider. The length is ok and might accommodate approximately 2.5 oil lamp wicks. The construction of the wick is well made and burns well.

All my lanyerns needed new wicks because of age. I am very confident replacing mine with these new and flexible ones. They all but one which used a inch wide wick. Ill be checking Walmart for that very soon. Lanterns are perfect for my deck and repel mosquitoes! Others are used in blackouts with lamp oil, also available @ Walmart!

The wicks that are pre-cut are not easy to find these days, so I opted for a small roll instead. I also purchased some for a friend who lives in the country. I packaged the rolls of wicks with a box of matches. He isn't one who would have matches or lighters at their homestead. He was elated at this small gift!
