14,000 BTU (10,000 BTU DOE) Portable Air Conditioner Cools 700 Sq. Ft. with Dehumidifier and LCD Remote in White

First off we noticed that whoever was responsible for engineering the packaging itself used brilliant forethought in choosing all the protective pieces that actually ensure the unit will reach its destination unscathed. (Honestly - please give them my best regards! Nobody seems to do this anymore!) Plus, FedEx didn't run over it with a truck or stop drop and roll it before it was perfectly delivered to our porch, and it arrived on time! Kudos! On to the unit itself: It's nicely designed with attractive lines and perfect size. My handyman hubby has it set up already, venting out a finished interior/exterior wall hole as he has prepared with prior AC units. It will be utilized in our large, vaulted ceiling living room once outside temps increase, and the noise level won't interfere as much with TV watching as the old unit did. The remote is a new feature for us, and it's convenient to have the ability to control the louvers when needed, along with all the other usual variables.. Again we haven't run it for its intended purpose yet, but are very satisfied with our initial impressions and test run, and are confident we selected the brand and model that will best serve us with summer comfort this year!
