I absolutely LOVE how this unit turned out. It looks perfect where I installed it. Assembly was fairly straightforward albeit a little time-consuming. The biggest issue was with the instructions. While they are clear on what part goes where, it fails in giving you direction on HOW parts are assembled. For example, there is a small attachment device that requires screwing after insertion in order to create the tension that holds it in place. This is an important detail that someone who is a novice at furniture assembly may not know or understand. This particular fact became an issue for me when I noticed that the joints were starting to loosen and pull apart when my husband got half-way through the assembly. Once I saw the device and its method of operation, I figured it out. We ended up stopping the assembly (he was mad and frustrated) and the next day, I had to take apart our progress and start all over again ensuring that each of these devices were tightened along the way. Even if there was a curved arrow or something to indicate that more than just insertion was needed, it would have been incredibly helpful. Regardless, I'm glad the option to wall mount it is available as its quite tall and slim. Attaching it to the wall definitely makes it feel more secure and stable.
