Lives Up To The Name

I have had really good luck with MXR overdrive pedals so I researched this particular distortion pedal. You can definitely dial up plenty of distortion! The strongest point of this pedal is the eq and versatility of it. It has three eq knobs- Bass, Mid, and Treble. There are two knobs at the top- Output and Distortion. Cranking the distortion all the way up provides plenty of bite. The pedal has a metal enclosure. No pops or hisses when engaging the pedal and using it. For anyone looking for a distortion pedal, this model is worth checking out.
