Even better than what I expected! I have 2 prs of low Bogs & needed ones for walking the Oregon beach in the winter, including where streams enter with higher water in the winter. The lace-up style makes it so easy for on/ off. I was concerned whether these would be truly waterproof up to the tops with the lace-up section, but I have tested these well and they are! Comfortable soles & support for walking 8 mile stretches. I fold the lace-up inset section smoothly to prevent pressure / rubbling at the top against my shins, which has not been a problem. Enough tread grooving to prevent slip but not heavy, chunky tire treads. I wear 8.5 shoes & bought 9 to fit heavy socks- fit just right. Sand & rocks can be tough on sides of shoes, but so far, so good. I am super satisfied. I got the only color offered (I think) and would prefer other color options.

These boots are pretty dang amazing! Living in Colorado, where it can go from 70 to snowing in a matter of hours, these boots translate pretty seamlessly. Super warm and dry for the cold days without super sweaty feet for the warm afternoons. Having wide calves, and normally buying wide calf boots, these are a little snug and hit just in the wrong place (i'm 5'4") but I'm hoping they'll stretch a little bit with wear.
