Overall pleased ( rating 4. 5)

My husband is pleased with the truck bed cover. My only complaints is that communication was lacking. We were up against a time crunch and after a week we had not received a shipping notice and i reached out for an update and received a reply that our order was processing. We never received a shipping notice and the cover showed up last week.

Nice cover

This is my 3rd BAKFlip for a 2007 Tacoma. The first lasted about 3 years before it was destroyed in an accident, the 2nd lasted about 6 years of daily abuse, with snowy Winters and lots of freeze-thaw cycles. The latest is greatly improved and fixed most of the small issues on the previous ones. Dry, semi secure storage that keeps thing dry and out of sight. I would highly recommend it.

Backflip for 2025 Tacoma

First off, I'm very pleased with the cover. It's well made and fits the bill perfectly. On the down side, the instructions left much to be desired and there was a design flaw in the side rails that had to be worked around. As to the instructions, they're meant to cover from the last gen Taco to the new gen, and the first step in the instructions is meaningless for the new gen. , and there is no explanation on it. As to the design flaw of the side rails, they place the forward clamps in the exact same place the cover hold down clamps go. I suspect they just didn't bother to redesign the side rails for the new taco. The work around was to relocate the rail clamps rearward, but this new location is IMO, less secure. It does seem to be working, though. There was no mention in the instructions about this problem. In installing, I had to call Realtruck twice, because the instructions were silent on both problems. On the plus side, the people at Realtruck were quite helpful, and things go sorted out. However, how hard would it really be for Bakflip to provide proper instructions and a rail design appropriate for the new taco? All that said, I am happy with the final result.
