I really believe I got athletes feet from not using sandals/ shower shoes from ONE day at a hotel especially from the carpet or their shower. I know it can be spread from person to person, so even playing footsies with someone that has it, will give it to you. Don't share socks with anyone. Clean your shower especially the floor part with bleach. I noticed I had to throw away the things that caused my feet to be reinfected such as old socks AND old shoes. When you shower it's important to wash you feet with a wash cloth or small natural disposable loufahs (try not to reuse them). Also, foot fungus likes to eat at old skin on the feet so try to exfoliate them or use a pumice stone to get rid of dead dry skin. After washing your feet, wash your hands to avoid spreading the fungus to other parts of your body. Dry them with something separate than your body towel, such as a paper towel that can be disposed. The key is, people keep reinfecting themselves. The dollar tree has cheap packs of socks that you can buy. When you wash your socks, wash them in hot water and turn them inside out. Prior to using this cream, my feet would itch uncontrollably under and between all my toes and start at a random time of day every day. This sensation became gradual over the course of 5 months. Over the course of an hr the itching would get drastically worse, then eventually stop after an hr of washing them and using all the popular foot sprays and powders including the natural ones. Then I learned about Iodine and how it kills fungus so I started using 10% Povidone iodine on my feet for atleast 3 weeks. It was the only thing that instantly stopped the insane itching once applied topical to the entire bottom of my feet and in-between my toes twice a day first, then follow up with the sprays or powder. At first the iodine would give a warm sensation, the itching stopped, but would start again daily in the late afternoons/evening. Finally after 5 months of suffering, all of what I mentioned above helped but the itching was still slightly there. I was at my wits end and finally found this cream based off other reviews and was so glad I did. I noticed this cream is what finally put the itching at bay. If your consistent you will still feel a tiny spot of itching but I will reapply the cream or use the spray I have on that tiny spot before bed or whenever I feel it. You can use the cream as many times a day as needed to help your issue. It is actually pretty strong and I would compare it to a prescription if you don't have insurance. Its best to use it twice a day at minimum, I rub it in but not all the way, I leave it on visibly and that helps a lot. The tube is small but a little goes a long way. I brought two tubes and they have lasted me a month and a half so far and I feel can last 2 full months atleast. I would definitely recommend this cream to anyone, I wish I found this first before going down the rabbit hole of products. The cost is fair
