This is the best! I have purchased several iced coffee makers and this one wins hands down. The others I have make small amounts, leak, make weak coffee and have grounds in the coffee. This one is giant (3 gallons), it doesn't leak, it makes strong coffee and there are no grounds in my coffee. It fits in my refrigerator and I have enough iced coffee to last me forever. The only thing I wish was designed better is the basket and the handles. The plastic feels flimsy and thin and the handles come unlocked easily and fall off. This can be an issue when you're lifting 3 pounds of coffee out of it. Other than that it is perfect. It can also serve as a water or drink dispenser with infuser. It comes with a nice stand and an ice cartridge you can freeze and insert it to keep drinks cold. Another item to mention is after your coffee is ready it can be quite heavy to lift and put in the refrigerator so keep that in mind. This is a great iced coffee maker and I am very happy with my purchase. I almost want to buy another in case something happens to this one. I never want to be without it. Every morning I go to my frig fill my glass 3/4 full of iced coffee add some half and half and some vanilla syrup better than any coffee house and way cheaper.

The handles to the basket are too long so you can not place the cover on it. The basket sits too high to be effective unless you make the full 3 gallons (of cold brew). There are no directions on how much coffee to use, how much water to use and the type (ground) of the coffee to use the producr effectively.
