This is the kind of movie that Hollywood used to do in its sleep: a solid ghost story. The movie adroitly tells a tale about a haunted house, and this black %26 while chiller is beautifully paced and features another solid Ray Milland performance. The Criterion Collection is the last stand for movie lovers who still like physical media. I highly recommend this one!

Wonderful Classic Movie!

This movie is such a wonderful classic! Even my teenage daughters love this movie. I'm so pleased they've finally released it on DVD in the US. :) It's one of the very few movies that doesn't set out to make a haunted house movie to be truly scary. Enjoy!
