Generally the cot is fine. Wish it was able to tilt up a little higher at the head end but not really a show stopper to me. The pad is not very thick though. Site says it's 3 inches but it is barely 1 1/2 - 2 inches. Ok for what I need but be aware if you want a thick pad.

It's better than the ground or an air mattress
It's a great cot but the mattress is so thin. Lawn furniture has better cushioning. It is comfortable and heavy duty so that is a plus. Just don't buy it and think that is has a lot of padding. The carry all bag makes it easier but if you are short it will hit you in the back of the leg because it is a little long. It does help with movement of the cot.
