I am new to hiking the trails. At this time I guess, comfort and weight are the most important thing in making my decision to by these boots. They have more then meet the requirement for my needs. I'm recovering from many heath issues, without the proper boot I would not be able to get out on the trails. This is the best form of therapy, and the only that I'm able to do. this is a great hiking boot. Its feels comfortable when off road, and it allows alot of movement so it doesn't feels stiff like other brands. I had to return it once because it didnt fit, but the new size is perfect.
