Every Cannon Carving Bar is individually hand crafted by skilled journeymen and put through rigorous quality control checks prior to packaging. Cannon Carvers are constructed with custom alloy steel that is cold rolled, heat treated, annealed, stress relieved and surface ground. This provides the best possible characteristics of wear resistance, strength, durability, straightness and elasticity. The tip is reinforced with a custom cobalt alloy providing even more endurance. This bar has a very narrow nose (3/4"), which is about the size of a dime. This allows you to do very fine detail work. Only works with 1/4" pitch carving chain.
