Beautiful shade, but poorly designed.
First, the shade is beautiful. Unfortunately, the design was almost unmountable. My partner was literally enraged trying to install this. On top of the issues with the mounting plate, the shade is not secure and wobbles around. It can not be tightened to stability. It sits uneven and there is no way to secure it tight enough, so it just keeps going a bit lopsided or twisting and refuses to sit properly and stay put. Very insecure design...Hard to understand why they engineered such a beautiful shade in this manner.
