Transolid Ultra Low Linear shower bases are the perfect choice to replace an old tub. They are available in 60-in x 30-in and 60-in x 32-in to accommodate traditional tub sizes and the drain measures 8-1/4-in from the wall to line up with an existing tub drain. Made of numerous layers of Transtone, a sheet-molded compound material that is solid throughout the base and is supported by sturdy structural ribs underneath that radiate out from the drain opening. When combined with a thinset mortar installation, this creates a flex-free, water-tight installation and a foundation that you can count on. The base features a 2.6-in ultra-low threshold that is just a smidgen wider to even accommodate popular farmhouse style barn doors. The surface is scratch, impact and slip resistant with a beautiful slate finish for a minimalist look.
