Purdy brushes are the best.

I painted professionally for more than 25 years and ultimately used this brush exclusively for latex paint. I still paint from time to time and I will only use this brush and no other! The Purdy is the best! In my opinion straight cut brushes have the advantage over angle cut. Straight cut holds and distributes paint better and is not one-directional. And they cut a line straighter and better. Please keep buying the straight cut trim brushes so they will keep making them!

Painting perfection

I have been using these brushes for the past 12 years in my decorating business. They always give an excellent result. I live and work in the UK where these brushes are for some reason not sold so I have to rely on Amazon to import them for me. Well worth the effort. I guess I have worn out about 20 plus brushes now and have never lost one bristle. I do take a lot of care keeping them clean and tidy though. I have yet to find a better brush.

My go to brush...

Great for cutting in, just the proper stiffnes. 2 in. wide, so wide enough for most non roller jobs and gets into tight spaces sans problems . My everyday fave.
