John Boos Rectangle Maple Cutting Board with Grips

Key item features

We don't all have room for one of those classic, 500-pound butcher blocks, but the John Boos Rectangle Maple Cutting Board with Grips gives you that heavy, wooden style that you can easily fit on your countertop. Crafted from hard maple and arranged to show off the end-grain, this thick board features grips on each side and a food-safe finish of cream and beeswax that shows off the natural beauty of the material. Take your pick from the range of sizes to fit your space.

Just Wow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh. My. Goodness. This thickness is perfect. It's a statement piece for sure. It's very sturdy and beautiful- fantastic craftsmanship! As soon as I got it, I started conditioning it with mineral oil and beeswax cream. It probably changed color by three or so shades once it absorbed it all, and now it's just a beauty. When I'm not using it, I showcase it on the counter. Friends and family all compliment on it!

Amazing cutting board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The John Boos Small Maple Wood End Grain Cutting Board has become an indispensable tool in my kitchen. Its 20" x 15" × 2.25" dimensions provide ample space for chopping, slicing, and dicing. The end grain construction not only ensures durability but also preserves the sharpness of knives. The maple wood adds an elegant touch to the kitchen, and the sturdy build instills confidence in its longevity. Its generous size and thickness make it versatile for various food preparation tasks. A must-have for any home chef seeking a reliable, high-quality cutting board that combines functionality with a touch of craftsmanship.

Stunningly useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea that Boos made their own cutting boards! I have been using the Boos Block cream for probably close to a decade for my other cutting boards (which I love and use regularly!) and for whatever reason - did not make the connection! The quality of this board is ridiculous! Just as good (if not better) than my stupidly expensive ones I've bought at Williams Sonoma and other like places. It is substantial so I don't feel it rocking while cutting and I don't feel like it's going to slip/slide all over my counter: it's also big enough that I can cut multiple peppers or other larger items on it without worry. I haven't tried but it definitely looks like it could handle a substantial piece of meat or something if the like. I live in a small apartment so storage is kinda tricky due to the larger size. it looks beautiful out and will absolutely be used for charcuterie soon. I can tell this is one that I'm going to have with me for a long time and I couldn't be more excited about that :)
