Like the Axiom+ for its versatility

Like the versatility of the Axiom unit. Lots of options. Clear display and quick loading. What I had trouble with was the dock-to-dock features. Any route more than a couple of miles caused zillions of waypoints and jumbled the screen or failed to resolve at all. Disappointing feature for sure for me. Might be operator error, frankly, but don't think so.

The Axiom 12” MFDs I purchased were easy to install and worked right out of the box. The units are clean and easy to see in bright sunlight and although there are many options when configuring the system, operation is still very intuitive.

This unit is at the lower helm that is used less than the flybridge. She is interfaced to a larger Axiom Plus as well as the Radar, AIS, sonar, autopilot and IP cameras. She interfaced without difficulty. The cost savings is nice since the second unit will share pretty much everything the master unit has attached including the data card. The interface is built in and is easy as plugging in a cable, since that's all you have to do. Nice unit, does what it advertises and some.
