The Star Who Tried to Lasso The Moon is about a little star named Blinkie who didn't think he shined bright enough for a child to make a wish upon but because of the wise moon Blinkie realizes he shines bright and you will learn you do too.Melissa Maltais the author and illustrator was raised in Gilmanton New Hampshire. She is a massage therapist by day, dreaming up children's books and songs by night. Melissa wrote this book and dedicates it to her daughters Taylor and Cora.
