Agatha Christie's Poirot: Series 7 & 8 (DVD)

First, I've enjoyed these four Poirot movies since they came out. That is not the issue. The thing is this: The first six Poirot series were beautifully remastered for the Blu Ray and new DVD issues. They look great--sharp, clean, colorful. Well, whoever handled Series 7 & 8 didn't get the memo. Or maybe they were shot badly in the first place. While these four shows look better than the original DVDs of a decade ago, they are not even close to the visual quality of Series 1-6. They are certainly not Blu Ray quality. And presumably what you get on this DVD issue will be mediocre at best. Blu-Ray.com agrees. Poirot fans will want this set of course, but you should know what you're getting.
