Beautiful sky, hawk ceiling fan. Remarkably quiet.

My Minka air Skyhawk fan is beautiful to look at as well as quiet as a mouse when it runs. I was replacing a ceiling fan in this house that the previous owners had for many years. It was operated by a wall switch only with no remote and no light. It was mounted on 16 foot ceilings and was too tall for me to control so I purchased this sky hawk. Has a beautiful, very powerful LED light, which helps add brightness to the room, which is very large. Very pleased with this fan highly recommend. I had it professionally installed so I can't tell you how easy it was, but it seemed like they had no issues with the install.

Sleek and Powerful

We purchased a MinkaAire ceiling fan a few years ago for our bedroom that has held up well. So, again, we purchased a MinkaAire for a large upstairs room. The Skyhawk 60" was an easy install despite our tall ceiling (we purchased a 69" downrod, too). It worked from the get-go. The light is very adequate for the room size and the fan out-put is great. The look is sleek and very much updates the room. It has only been up 2 days, but we anticipate no problems. The only thing we are considering is purchasing a wall switch in lieu of a remote. We have a wall switch with our other one and find a permanent spot for on/off & adjustments works better for us than chasing our remote around. But, we will decide on this in upcoming weeks. Overall, we recommend this fan.
