Disappointed packaging diminishes value of product

I recently purchased a set of straps for $56, expecting them to arrive in a presentable manner suitable for gifting. However, my expectations were not met. The straps, while seemingly functional, were carelessly packed into a box too small for their size. This resulted in the box arriving torn open, with the straps partially hanging out, compromising their integrity and appearance. The absence of the manufacturer's original packaging further detracted from the overall presentation, rendering the product unsuitable as a gift. It gave an impression of cheapness, which is not justifiable given the price point. This experience was disappointing and did not align with the quality and professionalism I expected for the price paid.
