Kwikset 905 Keywayless Electronic Keypad Deadbolt For Garage or Side Door in PB

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't tell you how much I love this Kwikset 905 Keywayless Electronic Deadbolt! It was so easy to install. I actually had my mom and dad over for a visit and had my dad working on another project for me. I figured I'd have him install this deadbolt when he was done with that project. Then I opened it up and started looking at it and realized it was going to be easy to do- so I did it myself. If you have a standard deadbolt in place, this will fit right into the hole that's already there. The instructions are super easy to understand, as well. Seriously, it took me 10 minutes at most to install this. And I should add that it was as easy to program and enter your own personal code, as it was to install it. And it works great! I hate digging for a key when I come home from shopping and my hands are full, so now I can just enter my code and the door unlocks itself! It's awesome. And you may wonder, what happens if the batteries die when I'm out and about and I can't get back in? Well, the folks at Kwikset thought of that. The black rubber pad you see underneath the number pads in the pic pulls off and underneath are two terminals. You simply take a 9V battery and hold it up against the terminals and it give it enough power to unlock itself so you're not locked out of your house. I mean, how awesome is that? Only thing is, now that I see how beautiful this looks against my dirty door, I think I need to give my door a good scrubbing and maybe a paint job!
