[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had experience with multiple vendors of home automation, I was impressed how nicely it is done here. The gateway was fully configured with the app, which handled properly edge cases like WiFi type, loss of connection, phone sleeping away in the process. The guidance it provided was clear, and allowed to deal with all the bumps in the road. Once the app configured the gateway, connecting switches was even better, with gateway taking care of all the connection issues. Then -- my devices just showed up in HomeKit -- and Siri was happily controlling them.
