27-inch Artificial Silk Yellow Single Teddy Bear Sunflower Long Stem, for Indoor Use, by Mainstays

I have always had a vase with a fresh cut flower arrangement in my living room, and had the problem with them wilting and dying on me after a week and a half. I started using a silk flower arrangement in another vase weighted with clear marbles to display in it's place until I make my weekly trip to the store for a fresh bunch. I am now much more interested in adding some artificial plants and flowers to my decor as a low maintenance way to spruce things up a little. I wanted to try a silk sunflower as a sort of "topper" for my already existent bouquet. This Mainstays sunflower is a little on the large side at a head diameter of approximately 6" and a total height of a little over 28". It is a bit too large for my bouquet (a 3 1/2" diameter head would be more suitable), but it looks very nice on it's own, and is currently being displayed in my dining room next a mirror. The quality is pretty good for the price, and from a distance it could be mistaken for the real thing. The stem has two leaves and is plastic with a wire inside that can be bent any direction needed, and cut to any length. I think that adding more of them as a bunch in a tall wicker basket would look very nice.

This yellow 27-inch single sunflower has a very long stem. It is not a typical sunflower, more of a teddy bear sunflower. It is very lifelike with the natural appearance. This artificial flower has vibrant colors and a very nice feel. Will look beauty throughout the year, no matter the season. It can be combined with other blooms for any kind of arrangement or purpose. Would work great to decorate a wreath, a flower basket, centerpiece. or a topiary by adding a few extra pieces for a garden or even for a wild effect. The description says that it is perfect for indoor and outdoor decoration. I have only used it indoor so I cannot speak to how it would hold up in the elements outdoors or if it may fade. I originally wanted this to go in a centerpiece that I was doing for a table decoration, but that idea took a different direction and I ended up not using it after all, so I don't have pictures of that. It has given me many great ideas of how I might use it in an upcoming project. You will not regret this purchase.
