In 20 years of male cats in 3 family households (males are more prone to crystal blockages) all the cats (28) on Pur-one.urinary tract, only 1 died from blockage because the vet demanded to put 1 male on Hill's Science diet weight control. In less than 6 weeks, when I came home from back surgery with 2 days in a hospital and my cat on HSD had to be rushed to the emergency vet. Nearly $1,000 for tests and putting the cat to sleep because of Blockage. All my cats have and will remain on Pur-one UT.
