Fresh Organic Honeycrisp Apples, 2 lb Pouch

These apples are usually juicy and flavorful! They came to me damaged with soft spots that are really not eatable. So if maybe the shopper would have been a little more careful with the selection these apples would be fine. I am happy to get them at a walmart price. But it's not savings if half are uneatable.

I realize that things happen, but I was definitely disappointed to see that over half of the apples I received in the package were moldy at the stems! My rating reflects more on the overall experience with quality control than the quality of the apples that still appeared fresh. This being said, they are the perfect size for a small, healthy snack option. They look like an organic apple from a homegrown tree (a little smaller than the palm of your hand) with a good sweet-to-tart ratio that is typical for this variety. Not too watered down tasting like the organic honey crisps at Target! Those that are still looking good will be enjoyed, but it is sad to throw away over half of a bag of apples before I’ve even finished putting the rest of my groceries away! Especially because my toddler is the one who loves these apples the most :( Not saying I won’t try them again, but not the best first experience!
